Information, not advice
This website and all connected project channels are provided for cultural, historical, educational and informational purposes. Nothing presented is investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice; a personal recommendation; an offer or solicitation to buy or sell securities or financial products; or a guarantee of price, value, liquidity, utility, access or returns. Consult qualified independent advisers and review the laws applicable to you.
Digital asset risk
Digital assets can be highly volatile, illiquid, technically complex and subject to changing laws, rules and platform availability. You can lose the entire value of a digital asset. Transactions may be irreversible. Wallets, smart contracts, bridges, networks, custodians and trading services can fail, experience exploits, be unavailable or cease support.
BALL tokens do not represent equity, voting rights in a company or foundation, ownership of The BALL Foundation, ownership of the physical Game 5 Ball, intellectual-property rights, revenue participation, guaranteed access or a claim on any asset unless expressly stated in legally binding documentation.
Contracts and bridging
Malicious or incorrect token contracts may use similar names, symbols or imagery. Confirm the full contract address against official Game 5 Ball channels before any interaction. Bridging through Wormhole or any other infrastructure may require multiple transactions, network fees and a destination-chain redemption. Verify the source chain, destination chain, recipient address, asset and amount at every step.
Wormhole, wallet providers, blockchains, explorers and access services are independent third parties. Game 5 Ball does not control their security, availability, fees, policies or transaction outcomes.
Third-party links and services
Links to exchanges, data providers, wallets, apps, social platforms and other websites are provided for convenience. They are not endorsements, recommendations or statements about availability, legality, security or suitability. Third-party terms, privacy practices and jurisdictional restrictions apply.
Email updates and privacy
If you join the BALL on Fortnite update list, we collect the email address you submit, the page where you subscribed, your consent status and the associated timestamps. We use this information to send requested tournament announcements, game-night alerts, map updates, creator-event news and reward-opportunity notices, and to maintain an accurate subscription record.
Direct signup is intended for people age 13 or older. A parent or legal guardian may subscribe using the adult's email address for a player under 13. The form does not ask for a child's name, age, email address or other personal details. We also use a short-lived, one-way hashed network identifier to limit automated signup abuse without retaining the underlying network address in the subscriber record.
We do not sell subscriber email addresses. Information may be processed by hosting, database, email-delivery and security providers working on our behalf, or disclosed when legally required. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time or request access, correction or deletion by contacting us. We retain subscription records only as reasonably necessary to operate the list, honor unsubscribe requests, maintain security and meet legal obligations.
Enterprise inquiries and privacy
The GAME 5 BALL Enterprise inquiry form may collect the name, business email address, organization, role, selected inquiry type and opportunity description you submit. This information is used to evaluate the inquiry, communicate with the business contact, prepare an appropriate response and maintain necessary business and security records.
Service providers that host, secure, store or route enterprise inquiries may process this information on behalf of GAME 5 BALL and The BALL Foundation. Enterprise contact information is not sold. It may also be disclosed when legally required or when reasonably necessary to protect the project, its users or its services.
Enterprise inquiry information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to the opportunity, maintain appropriate business records, protect the submission system and meet legal obligations. It is then deleted or deidentified when it is no longer needed.
To request access, correction or deletion, use the enterprise inquiry form and select “Enterprise Privacy Request,” or email contact@theballfoundation.com.
Historical and intellectual-property references
Historical references to teams, leagues, players, manufacturers, venues and media properties are descriptive. The NBA, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Spalding, Epic Games, Fortnite and all other third-party names, logos and marks are the property of their respective owners. Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson are referenced solely for historical context. No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement is claimed.
SPALDING appears on the original ball and in photographs of the artifact. Spalding is not affiliated with, and does not sponsor or endorse, Game 5 Ball or The BALL Foundation.
The Don’t Drop the Ball Fortnite experience is independently created using Epic Games’ tools and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Epic Games, Inc.
Cultural language and forward-looking statements
Phrases such as “Mona Lisa of sports,” “Holy Grail,” “world-record” and other superlatives communicate cultural positioning and ambition. They are not appraisals, guarantees, verified record designations or promises of commercial or financial outcome. Plans for games, media, experiences, partnerships, technology, custody and future products may change, be delayed or not launch.
